From Fienile di Manerba we recommend taking the A4 motorway towards Venice - Piazzale Roma. The journey takes about 2 hours. From the paid car parking you can take the vaporetto that will take you across the Grand Canal directly to St. Mark's Square.
What to see?
From St. Mark's Square you can explore all the city's most famous sights on foot, such as the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs. You can also opt for a gondola ride or visit the famous islands of Burano and Murano.

We recommend leaving early in the morning to arrive in Venice before 8 a.m. and avoid most of the traffic. We also recommend buying parking and sightseeing tickets in good time so you don't waste time once you arrive.

Trip to Verona
How to get there?
From Fienile di Manerba, we recommend taking the A4 highway towards Venice, exiting at Verona Sud (about 1 hour by car) and reaching the paid car parking located near Piazza Bra.
What to see?
Piazza Bra is home to the famous Arena, a Roman amphitheater still used for performances and concerts. From here you can stroll to Piazza delle Erbe and Juliet's House. End the day with a walk over the Ponte Pietra bridge for a splendid view of the Adige River.
Useful tips
We recommend purchasing the Verona Card for access to major attractions at an affordable price. Bring comfortable shoes to explore the historic center and visit the Arena early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Don't forget to enjoy a homemade gelato at one of the local ice cream parlors.

Trip to Florence
How to get there?
From the Fienile di Manerba you will have to drive to the car park at the Desenzano train station: in approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes you will arrive directly in the heart of Florence.
What to see?
A 10 minute walk from the station you can easily reach Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza del Duomo. You didn't think Florence was so close, did you?
Useful tips
Buy your train tickets in advance and choose the one that leaves early in the morning so that you have the whole day to visit the city once you arrive. If you plan to visit some attractions, buy tickets online to avoid queues.

Excursion to Monte Baldo
How to get there?
From the Fienile di Manerba, we recommend taking the car and setting the navigator to the Malcesine cable cars (route south of the lake). The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by car. From there you can take the cable car that takes you directly to the top of Monte Baldo.
What to see?
From Monte Baldo, Garda Lake is a spectacle unlike anything. Once you reach the top you can choose trails and routes for each level of difficulty. You can refresh yourself at the refuge or relax in the sun in the meadows.
Useful tips
Bring clothing suitable for mountain weather conditions, which can change quickly. If you plan to walk, wear comfortable trekking shoes. In high season, book your cable car tickets in advance to avoid long waits.

Excursion to Pizzocolo
How to get there?
Reach San Michele (Gardone Riviera) by car in about 30 minutes. Continue on foot on trail 11, well signposted, through the woods. The return route lasts 4/6 hours, does not present particular difficulties except for some slightly steep sections and is not suitable for strollers or small children.
What to see?
Great variety of views that change as you go up, crossing beech, oak and chestnut woods, with possible encounters with squirrels and roe deer. Above the level of the trees there is a view of the lake and, on clear days, of the Dolomites, the Valtenesi and the Po Valley.
Useful tips
Check the weather and equip yourself with trekking boots and layered clothing. Bring food, water and sun protection for the last stretch without the shade of the trees.

Valtenesi tour
How to get there?
Valtenesi includes Manerba del Garda and some neighboring towns such as Moniga, Polpenazze, Padenghe and San Felice. All these villages can be reached in a maximum of 15 minutes by car.
What to see?
Moniga and Padenghe: visit their respective medieval castles that are still inhabited. Polpenazze: enjoy a special panoramic view from the Church square. San Felice: discover the beautiful circular walk that will take you to the Baia del Vento and the small church of San Fermo.
Useful tips
To visit the villages of Valtenesi, choose roads with little traffic to admire the vineyards and olive groves that characterize this area. Don't forget to book a visit to a local winery to taste local wine and oil between one trip and another.

Moniga-Padenghe by the lake
How to get there?
Go by car to the Port of Moniga car park and walk towards the lake. Follow the pedestrian walk that runs along the lake to Lido di Padenghe. The 6 km route (round trip) is also suitable for strollers.
What to see?
The walk is perfect for looking the lake from a close-up perspective. You will find panoramic views and reeds, where if you are lucky you will be able to see ducks and swans' nests. Once you arrive at Lido di Padenghe, before returning you can take a swim and refresh yourself at the beach bars.
Useful tips
Early morning is the ideal time for a walk, when there are few visitors (and the sun is not yet high). Bring water, sunscreen and a hat, as the route is not very shaded.

Garda Island
How to get there?
This island can only be visited by reservation: the ticket includes roundtrip from the chosen departure port (Manerba del Garda and San Felice the closest) and a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, also in English and German.
What to see?
The Island of Garda is the pearl of our Lake. The guided tour will take you to discover its history, showing you the beautiful gardens with plants from all over the world and taking you inside the majestic Venetian neo-Gothic style villa.
Useful tips
If you plan to visit this place, make sure to book in advance and don't try to buy last minute tickets: you will risk not finding any tickets or not being able to choose the desired language during the guided tour.

Isola dei Conigli (San Biagio)
How to get there?
From Fienile di Manerba you have to reach Porto Torchio by walk (20 minutes) or by car. From the port there is a boat available (for a fee) that takes you to the small Rabbit Island, access to which is always subject to a fee as it is a private island.
What to see?
The island is small but ideal for enjoying a day on the lake from a different perspective than the usual beaches that are perhaps too crowded. On the island you will find green lawns and shaded areas, toilets and a kiosk for lunches or snacks.
Useful tips
If you don't want to eat at the island kiosk, bring something for a light picnic, but make sure you don't leave any waste. Bring beach towels, swimsuits and shoes for walking on the rocks with you if you want to go into the water.
